I always appreciate it when people talk to the guys I support for work even when I am the one who will inevitably answer for them. That level of respect and understanding goes a long way.

Yes, one of the guys I support, only says a few words, and there are times, I wish I could help him say more. I do feel as though we communicate very well without words — there is an understanding there. Which I imagine for you and your son is profound.
